Natural materials of clay and wood as a cheap and trend alternatives
Clay and wood as building material is available almost everywhere and can be the simplest means of local craftsmen and workers processed. For more than a third of the world's population is indeed of the self with natural building materials in the vital and natural.
The clay and timber construction in recent years has seen a steady upswing. The rapid development in the market today, however, light loam investment opportunities. Von 2007 war ich als Gastprofessor am EiABC (Ethiopien Institute of Architecture, Building Construction and City Development) an der Addis Ababa Universität in Äthiopien tätig. Dort entwickelte ich den Lehrstuhl "Angepaßte Bautechnologie" und leitete diesen bis Ende 2010. Vorher war ich von 1991 an der Fachhochschule Köln im Fachbereich Architektur als Lehrbeauftragter tätig, mein Lehrgebiet war dort "Sondergebiete der Werkstofflehre", "Holzkonstruktionen" und "Bauphysikalische Untersuchung Historischer Konstruktionen" . Meine Aufgabe ist es interdisziplinär zu denken, zu planen, zu lehren und zu handeln. Aus diesem Grund entwickele ich alle Projekte konsequent nach diesen Gesichtspunkten. In Köln habe ich "Architektur" und "Technologie in den Tropen" studiert und bin seit 1980 im Bereich Lehmbau, praktisch, theoretisch und wissenschaftlich tätig. Meine praktische und theoretische Lehmbauerfahrung erstreckt sich auf allen Gebieten des Lehmbaus. Seit 1980 plane und errichte ich Gebäude, in europäischen und tropischen Ländern, aller Lehmbautechniken.
